Hello Everyone!! I’m Tory, a cute little miniature Schnauzer! I live on Tory Island, which is located off the coast of Donegal. It’s pretty pawesome because they named the entire island after me – how cool is that? Because I live on an Island, I have to get a boat or a helicopter each time I need to leave to get my hair and nails done, go to the vet or go shopping. I live here with my mummy and daddy. My best Friend is a big white boxer who lives a few houses away and I have been friends with him since I was 2 years old. I absolutely love spending my days cuddling and having fun. Whether it’s playing with my favourite toys or snuggling up with my humans. I love chasing rabbits or chickens, I’m always up for a good time. And let’s not forget about food – I can’t get enough of it! Whether it’s my favourite treats or a delicious meal, I’m always ready to chow down. Living on Tory Island is a blast, and I’m so grateful to be a part of this amazing community. I may be small, but I bring a whole lot of love and joy to everyone around me ( even when I am barking at my neighbours as they pass by our house). Every day is an adventure here.
You might ask what the life of a Miniature Schnauzer is like, well let me tell you all about it. As you may already know, if you have a Miniature Schnauzer, it is actually all about us. I am a schnauzer who loves to start the day bright and early by waking up my mummy and daddy. I don’t let weekends stop me from getting up early because I am always eager to play and have some fun. My energy knows no bounds, and I can’t wait to start the day with my favourite humans. As soon as the sun starts to rise, I am ready to jump into action and make sure my mummy and daddy are up and about. I have so much love and excitement to share with them, and I can’t contain my enthusiasm for playtime. Whether it’s a weekday or a weekend, I am always ready to bring some joy and energy into the house. Waking up early may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for me, it’s the best part of the day. I love nothing more than spending time with my pawrents, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure we start the day off right. So, whether it’s a Monday morning or a lazy Sunday, you can count on me to be the alarm clock that never fails to bring a smile to everyone’s face.
I am a loyal schnauzer who takes my job of protecting the house very seriously. Whenever I see any moving objects outside, whether it’s a rabbit, a bird, or even a leaf blowing in the wind, I make sure to alert my mummy and daddy right away. My keen sense of hearing and sharp eyesight helps me to detect any potential threats and keep the house safe from intruders. As a schnauzer, I am naturally protective of my territory and those I care about. I bark loudly to let everyone know that there is something happening outside that needs attention. My instincts kick in, and I stand guard at the window or door, ready to defend my home if necessary. My family knows they can rely on me to keep them safe. Despite my small size, I have a big heart and a fierce determination to protect my home. I may be cute and cuddly, but when it comes to guarding the house, I am all business. My loyalty knows no bounds, and I will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and security of my family. I am proud to be a schnauzer who takes my role as protector very seriously.
I’m a schnauzer who is always keeping an eye on every morsel of food you eat. I have a particular weakness for cheese, and I’ll go to great lengths to get my paws on some. I’m a devoted schnauzer who takes my role as food supervisor very seriously. I can’t resist the temptation of Steak, and I’ll use my charm and cunning to try and snag a piece whenever I can. But nothing beats the joy of sitting down with my family for our special Sunday morning tradition of enjoying a delicious Fry together; sausages, rashers, pudding and scrambled egg: yummy yummy in my tummy.
Living life as a miniature schnauzer has been an incredible experience for me. From the moment I wake up to the time I go to sleep, I am constantly filled with energy and excitement. Whether it’s going for walks down the bog road or on the beach, playing with my favourite toys or daddy’s socks, or simply lounging around the house, there is never a dull moment in my life. I am always eager to explore new places and meet new people, and my curious nature often leads me on exciting adventures which results in mummy having to make me have a bath as I do also have a silly habit of rolling in sheep poo (super stinky).
One of the best parts of being a miniature schnauzer is the love and affection I receive from my Pawrents. They always make sure I am well taken care of, providing me with nutritious and delicious meals, regular grooming every 6 weeks, and plenty of cuddles. I am truly grateful for the bond I share with my family, and I make sure to show my appreciation by being a loyal and loving. Whether it’s snuggling up on the couch or going for a car ride, I cherish every moment I spend with my family. I take pride in my intelligence and eagerness to learn. I am always up for a challenge, I love to use my problem-solving skills to figure out puzzles and games, and I am always eager to please my family with my quick wit and obedience. My life as a miniature schnauzer is filled with love, adventure, and endless opportunities to learn and grow, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I know us schnauzers love love our food but even better than food I am a schnauzer who loves to snuggle with my mummy and daddy. I enjoy giving them the best cuddles whenever they need some love and affection. Whether it’s a rainy day ( which it rains quite a lot) or a sunny afternoon, I am always there to provide comfort and love. My fluffy fur and wagging tail are always ready to bring joy and happiness to my family and my friends. I take pride in being a loyal companion who is always by their side, ready to offer cuddles and kisses. My playful nature and loving personality make me the perfect cuddle buddy. There is nothing I love more than seeing the smiles on my family’s faces when I snuggle up to them. I may be a small schnauzer, but I have a big heart full of love to give. Cuddling with my mommy and daddy is one of my favourite things to do.
My mummy and daddy say I am a needy schnauzer, I don’t like if they go out and leave me behind so I am usually with them at all times, I love going to the pub with them and I know I am a lucky schnauzer as both the pubs are dog friendly so I always get lots of rubs and some nice food when we go out.
I love my life as a schnauzer and I love my family, I know they love me too as they tell me every day several times a day how much they love me and what the best girl I am, they spend all their time with me and I sleep in the big bed with them, my life is pretty pawfect just like me!
